As an aspiring IT professional and CompTIA A+ certified technician, I have built a strong foundation in networking, system administration, and technical troubleshooting. My background uniquely combines a Bachelor’s degree in Cinema with the technical rigors of computer engineering coursework and over three years of customer service experience. I am eager to apply my ability to quickly adapt to new environments to help your team maintain and optimize its technical infrastructure.

My technical expertise is grounded in networking and security projects documented through my personal homelab and IT blog. During my time at California Polytechnic State University, I designed a printed circuit board (PCB) and fabricated a metal chassis that would light an LED when a button was pressed. I have extensive experience utilizing Linux, Wireshark and Tcpdump for network traffic analysis and packet capture, alongside Nmap to identify open ports and network vulnerabilities. These skills are complemented by my experience configuring Windows Server environments, and managing users and permissions via Active Directory and GPOs. At Rudy’s ‘Country Store’ and BBQ, I maintained register uptime during peak hours by troubleshooting POS system errors and hardware malfunctions, and utilized an iPad / Mac OS to onboard and train new staff using corporate modules as a certified trainer.
